Michael in Atizapan
Praying for God’s will for our family in Mexico.

Michael’s trip to Mexico City in March 2012.

This March 27 – April 13, I had the opportunity to go see the great need in Mexico City.  A city of just over 32 million people, with a need for Independent Baptist churches in and around the vicinity of this second largest city in the world. With the help of several missionaries: Jonathan Anderson, Timothy Aguiar, and Jonathan Allinson, I  was able to visit 5 cities one and two hours out of Mexico City. I was there during the Easter weekend; what the people call Holy Week. The people are in such darkness, It gives me a greater burden to share God’s truth to the people there, who are sincerely seeking ways to find God.  I went to Atlacomulco, Atizapan, Coacalco, Cuernavaca, and Puebla, Puebla. I was given the privilege to preach in four churches, and hand out many Gospel tracts in the markets and streets . I was so blessed to have witnessed a soul come to know the Lord Jesus when we went out knocking on doors one afternoon. Everywhere I went I got more burden for the people, truly the harvest is great and the laborers are few. Pray for God to guide me to the place where my family will live and service, to increase God’s kingdom and plant churches. I am praying to get another chance to visit Mexico City with my family this year, and finish deputation soon. My family is excited to see what the Lord is doing for us and blessing us with new supporting churches every month.
