Children in the corn field
Corn Field

Our families first time to plant corn.We are excited to share what God has been doing in our lives. We got a good crop of sweet corn and white corn come in and we shared with our neighbors and then froze some for later. The children had missed eating white (non sweet) corn the way we did in Mexico. God bless us with lots of rain that the corn grew so big and we all enjoyed eating corn on the cob with chile and lemon. The children were so happy to see how God blessed our labor. But the more important lesson that we learned as Christians is to see how God’s word does not go in vain, and we have joy to see the harvest of just one soul. Tuesday as I took one of the Mexican men to the bus station to leave town, I had the opportunity to share the gospel with him individually since his bus was running behind schedule. Jorge accepted the Lord and prayed to receive Him as Savior – Praise the Lord!  What joy is harvest time. We look forward to more souls hearing about the Lord here in North Carolina as well as in Mexico.

I will be making a survey trip to Mexico in October .  Please pray for this trip that God will continue to use me to see a harvest for His kingdom. Praise God for the increase. “Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.” I Corinthians 3:8-9 We are so thankful for all those who are co-labors with us in this ministry to the Spanish people and to Mexico.  We appreciate your prayers and support.
