Praising the Lord for the wonderful Christmas service and dinner we had on Dec. 24,2010.  We had the honor of having our missionary from Aguascailentes, Mexico  Jose Padilla come preach the service.  Rejoicing for the two women and one man whom came forward and accepted the Lord as Savior. Pray for Paulina, Yaret, and Edwardo as they begin to grow in the Lord.  Earlier this week we went visiting and passing fliers to invite all the Hispanic population here in Robbinsville, NC, while visiting one family we shared the gospel and two women prayed to receive the Lord.  Thank the Lord for 5 souls saved this Christmas week.

After the wonderful service we had a great Dinner of homemade tamales and cake of tres leches (a Mexican traditional cake).  We thank God for the good attendance of 32 people, with freezing temps. of about 27 degrees.  It was great to have all my family back home for the Christmas season, with Nathan and Daniel playing guitar and mandolin and leading the singing again.  We had specials Christmas songs too, and a testimony by Jose Padilla’s wife Irma.  Pray for the Hispanic people here, most of who are without jobs for the winter. Most of the jobs available for them are outdoors and shut down during the freezing winter.
